Now Accepting Artwork for the ADAMHS Board 2024 Annual Meeting Art Show/Contest

CALL FOR ARTISTS!


The ADAMHS Board 2024 Annual Meeting art show/contest is open to any Cuyahoga County resident who is receiving prevention treatment or recovery support services for mental health and/or substance use disorders. 


The Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at the Holiday Inn on Rockside Road in Independence. The art show begins at 9:00 a.m. Meeting attendees will be the judges for the art contest by voting for their favorite art pieces. Winners of the contest are announced at the end of the event, and prizes are given to the top three artists:

  • 1st place - $100
  • 2nd place - $50
  • 3rd place - $25 


Individual artists:

  • Space is limited - Each artist may submit one piece of art.
  • Art must be dropped off to the ADAMHS Board (2012 W. 25th Street, 6th Floor, Cleveland) by Friday, May 3.
  • Please call (216-622-1991) or email Joicelyn Weems (weems@adamhscc.org) to schedule your art drop off Monday - Friday between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.
  • Each artist will receive a $10 gift card for participating. The gift cards are distributed when artwork is picked up from or after the event.
  • Please make sure your name is on the back of the artwork.
  • All artists must fill out this form and submit it with the art. A printed copy will also be available to fill out when you drop off artwork.


Agencies Submitting Client Art:

  • Space is limited - Agencies can submit multiple pieces, but each piece must have been created by a different artist. Please do not submit art that has previously been displayed in the Annual Meeting Art Show.
  • Please call (216-622-1991) or email Joicelyn Weems (weems@adamhscc.org) to schedule your art drop off Monday - Friday between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.
  • Gather all of your art and bring it to the ADAMHS Board by Friday, May 3.
  • Please make sure the artist or agency's name is on the back of each piece and that this form is completed for each piece and submitted with the art.
  • Each artist will receive a $10 gift card for participating. The gift cards are distributed when artwork is picked up from or after the event.


Art Contest Rules:

  • One piece may be submitted per artist. 
  • It must be a piece that has not been submitted before.
  • No breakable items like pottery or glass.
  • All artwork must be complete and if painted, must be dry.
  • The ADAMHS Board reserves the right to refuse any art.
