New Handbook Measures Proposed

The CalEEMod Steering Committee is pleased to propose new quantified measures for the CAPCOA GHG Handbook. These proposed additions were facilitated by a Phase I planning grant received by the Sac Metro Air District under the Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) program sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Inflation Reduction Act. Research, quantification determinations, and the development of quantification methodologies for each measure were completed by ICF and CAPCOA, with Ramboll providing quality assurance. These measures are currently incorporated into the Capital Region Climate Priorities Plan for the seven-county Sacramento region, and were chosen by the CPRG Steering Committee for the Sacramento-Roseville, CA Combined Statistical Area.
