June 2015 Wellness Newsletter
Summer is here and that might mean more cookouts and picnics. The Wellness team wants you and your family and friends to be safe and healthy when cooking and dining out doors. Check out this consumer guide from the FDA before your next culinary adventure.

If you learn better with LIVE demonstrations, join 1-2-1 Fitness and Bon Appetit on the Quad at Noon on June 18th for a grilling demo. The class is free but registration is required.

A reminder - biometric screening appointments will be available on campus this fall for benefits-eligible faculty and staff. If you have an upcoming appointment with your primary care provider and would like to use blood work for that visit to count towards the wellness program activity requirement, please make sure that you have the following results gathered:  height, weight, blood pressure, waist circumference, glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol. A Physician Results Form will be available online for results sharing with Quest Diagnostics.
