May is a time when we focus on prayer as we observe the National Day of Prayer and the Day of Prayer at Christian World Outreach (CWO). We know the importance of prayer as we read of the many times Jesus spent time in prayer. We would ask that you spend some time in prayer for the CWO ministries, leadership, and staff during these remaining days in May and this year.

Burkina Faso

• ·Pray that God will protect those serving in Burkina Faso from the attacks on villages. Pray for the safety of the Village of Opportunity (VOO) students as they return home for the summer.
• Pray for the young ladies who will be graduating from the VOO on May 25. Pray for them as they take their exams and begin using the skills they have learned.
• Pray for the VOO teachers as they take a break and then begin planning for the 2024-2025 school year.
• Pray for the medical team as they travel and give medical care to those who have none.

Haiti

• Pray for the safety of the CWO staff during these unsettled times.
• Pray for the ladies who will be graduating from the Feminine Training Center (FTC) this year.
• Pray for the eight churches as they minister to those in their communities and share the Gospel.
• Pray for Marie and her family as they grieve the loss of her mother.

South Africa

• Pray for the single moms attending the Women to Women events.
• Pray for the single moms participating in the Single Moms Raising Sons (SMRS) Bible studies.
• Pray for the men attending Men Around the Fire events.
• Pray for the boys and young men attending the Men Molding Men camps.

Sri Lanka

• Pray that the much-needed rains will continue giving relief from a long dry spell.
• Pray for Bavan and Sunil as they share the Gospel and disciple new believers.
• Pray for the teachers as they tutor the children and share the Gospel.
• Pray that through the ministry to the children that their parents will come to know the Lord.

Zimbabwe

• Pray for the staff as they finish plans for the cabins to be used for the leadership training and the Our Kids camps.
• Pray for the safety of those traveling to and from the leadership seminars.
• Pray for the staff as they minister to the many vulnerable children in the Our Kids program.
• Pray for the staff as they counsel the teenage girls and guide them as they become young women.

CWO

• Pray for the board as they meet and make ministry decisions.
• Pray for the Event Committee as they prepare for this year’s events.
• Pray for the staff as they work to support the country ministry leaders.

Greg and Laura

• Pray for Greg as he travels to South Africa this month and Laura as she takes care of things at home.
• Pray for Greg as he travels to Michigan the first weekend in June to speak at a supporting church.
• Pray for us as we continue to lead at our church.
