2017 Volunteer Engagement Summit...
|
Cool opportunity
The 2017 National Summit on Volunteer Engagement Leadership
Think about your special events, your programs, and your board of directors... How important are volunteers to your organization? If they are important, consider attending this 3-day summit hosted by the Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration:
July 26-28, 2017
St. Paul, MN
It will be the first national convening of volunteer engagement professionals and members of the philanthropic community, and if you recruit, engage, and/or manage volunteers, then you should be at the table to help shape the discussion.
Advance your own knowledge and skills while helping to discover how we can build a new national presence for leaders of volunteer engagement, tackle the issues that affect our work, and ultimately improve our community impact.
For CVNA members only!
Scholarships Available for the 2017 National Summit on Volunteers
The CVNA and the Leighty Fund of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa are providing four scholarships (each up to $750) to attend the
2017 National Summit on Volunteer Engagement Leadership in St. Paul . The scholarship funds can be used for travel, registration and/or hotel.
In addition, upon return from the Summit, the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley will convene attendees for a local summit to share tools, techniques, and information from the conference in hopes to further the development of volunteer engagement resources.
Funds will be awarded to organizations that can best demonstrate their desire and ability to improve the use of volunteers in their organization and the organization's interest in helping the Cedar Valley improve volunteer development.
The deadline to apply for funding is June 20.
