New Deal: Working to save you money.

CVE Master Management has struck a new deal to provide cable TV service. The new agreement includes several benefits for our residents:

  • First, we made sure the new contract does not include mandated charges for WiFi service.

  • Second, we negotiated a shorter contract length. This allows us to seek the best new services and competitive prices in half the time when the contract is up.

  • Third, we negotiated unprecedented customer service for you. The new agreement includes free customer service for Village residents. CVE Master Management required Xfinity to have a repair technician stationed here, in the Village, every Tuesday.

For complete details on the deal, and instructions on how to get the free customer service, read about it on our website.

Village security should not be your first call in an emergency.

Village security officers are not first responders. Their main responsibilities are gate access and perimeter patrol. In an emergency, village security can only observe, report and call 9-1-1.

If you are having an emergency, your first call should always be to 9-1-1. Once you have alerted first responders, you can always alert village security to the situation.

However, remember that village security officers are NOT law enforcement. They can't make arrests. They can't detain people. They are unarmed and therefore will not intervene in dangerous situations.

Our security officers work very hard every day to patrol the village, control entry, and serve as eyes and ears of the community. Their services are an invaluable asset to maintaining our village. But if you have a true emergency, 9-1-1 should always be your #1 call.

Shipping a car for the season? Know the rules.

If you are shipping a car to the Village for the season, make sure you know the rules to avoid any delivery problems.

When you know the arrival date of the car, call security and let them know the car carrier will be arriving at the gate. Share contact information of the carrier with security.

Upon arrival, village security will escort the car carrier to the parking lot next to the Clubhouse. THIS IS THE ONLY LOCATION WHERE UNLOADING A CAR CARRIER IS PERMITTED. The carrier will not be allowed to park near any condo building. It may not pull over on the side of Century Boulevard.

Once your car is unloaded, the carrier can exit the village on its own.

One more vehicle-related reminder: Please remember that parking a recreational vehicle for more than 24 hours is prohibited. If you have an RV, please make arrangements to store it outside the Village.

Free at-home COVID tests from the US government are back. Here's how to get them.

The Biden administration this week relaunched the website where Americans can once again order free at-home COVID tests.

The website had been shut down since June but came back online just as updated COVID vaccines rolled out across the country.

Visit the website and you will see instructions directing you to a website run by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to order a kit that comes with four tests.

Message from the Executive Director

Don't believe everything you read!

An increase in online blog rumors about the Village is prompting an important reminder.

If you have any questions or concerns about services or personnel in the Village, complaining to other residents on a blog or Facebook page does little to address the issue.

You should raise your concerns directly with whatever organization is responsible for those services. Both CVE Master Management and CenClub Recreation are dedicated to making sure all the services they provide meet resident expectations.

Our next CVE Master Management Board of Directors meeting will be Thursday, October 19th at 9:30am in Le Club Theater.

As always, be well and stay safe.
