It's BACK! A surge in dumping sparks return of Wall of Shame!

A spike in illegal dumping has prompted us to bring back the P.R.O.U.D. Campaign Wall of Shame.

The P.R.O.U.D. Campaign is CVE Master Management's Prevent & Report Our Unlawful Dumping.

The Wall of Shame highlights areas where residents illegally dumped bulk trash without caring about keeping CVE clean.

Just what is the relationship between CVE Master Management and COOCVE?

To set the record straight, CVE Master Management does not control COOCVE. COOCVE is an independently run village organization with its own village-elected president and board of directors. CVE Master Management has no role in selecting the individuals serving on the COOCVE board nor does it have a vote in COOCVE operations.

Currently, COOCVE handles the logistics for the election of the CVE Master Management Board of Directors. As a result, CVE Master Management gives COOCVE $35,000 per year to ensure all 253 building associations are able to participate in its election.

CVE Master Management staff help with beach cleanup

CVE Master Management thanks all the residents that joined to help clean up the beaches as part of the CVE Master Management "CARING BEYOND THE GATES" public service campaign.

The CVE Master Management "CARING BEYOND THE GATES" campaign is an ongoing effort to recognize our responsibility to improve the community around us. The City of Deerfield Beach hosted the Earth Month Beach Cleanup on April 20th.

Have you seen these...

Now up at the Clubhouse are real-time live bus trackers so you know exactly where your bus is located. There is one located outside where the buses stop, and another located inside the main clubhouse entrance for viewing while waiting for your bus.

Who pays your Association bill?

File this under the heading of rumor control: We've become aware that there are some questions over who pays your building association's FPL bill?

Your building's FPL bill (the bill that covers building common areas, building outdoor lighting, etc) is paid by your association. CVE Master Management does not pay the electric bills for buildings.

Welcome to CVE...

Please join us in welcoming our new Assistant Director of Security Wendy Prophete. If you see him around the village, feel free to stop and say hello.

Ask Security Director Kelley

QUESTION:

Director Kelley,

I noticed the bar code on my car looks a bit worn. When should I replace it?

ANSWER:

Over time, your bar code will deteriorate due to weather or simple wear and tear.

Take a look at your bar code. If it is worn, starting to lose its color, or is no longer reflective, you should replace it.

Drive-up bar code service is available at the security office in the CVE Master Management building. Our office is on the Tilford tennis court side, to the right of the medical office. You do not need an appointment if you arrive between 9:00am and 12:00pm weekdays. If you are unable to make it during those times, call us to make an appointment at 954-421-5566 ext 230.

As always, there is no charge for a bar code.

Message from the Executive Director

We appreciate your feedback

Last month we sent out a survey asking for feedback on our Town Hall. We received a lot of responses and I want to thank everyone who took the time to answer our short questions. Hearing from residents like you is the best way to ensure we are meeting your needs.

As you read above, we have unfortunately needed to revive our illegal dumping wall of shame. I can not emphasize strongly enough the need to obey the rules regarding your bulk trash items.

Bulk trash is picked up on Wednesdays. This means you may not place your bulk items out for pickup until Tuesday. We must not have items sitting outside for several days at a time. Putting aside the lack of sanitation, having items pile up for days looks horrible and will not be tolerated.

Any building where bulk items are illegally dumped is subject to a City of Deerfield Beach code violation and fine. Security staff will call the city if they see items illegally left out. The nearest building will be cited, regardless of who left the items.

Please show respect for not only the rules, but for each other.

As always, be well and stay safe.
