CV School Board At A Glance will be provided after each legislative board meeting. The most recent meeting took place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
The Board recognized recent successes in the District, including the participation of CV musicians in the PMEA All-State Festival, school board student representatives, and SHASDA honorees from CVHS.
Mr. Ohliger gave an update on Pathfinder School, including some recent activities at the school.
Mrs. Trainor, the representative for Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3, provided an update on the AIU.
Mr. Choura gave an update about Parkway West CTC.
Student Representatives Brady Baranowski and Sarah LaCamera provided updates on athletics and activities in the schools.
The Board took the following action:

Approved travel requests for MS Student Council and the CV Dance Troupe
Approved the Human Resources Report
Approved PTG Facilities Modification Request
Approved Food Service Equipment Grant
Approved the agreement to sell meals to AIU Head Start
Agreed to AIU3 Comprehensive Services
Approved Waterfront Learning Agreement
Approved Proposed Administrative Budget of Pathfinder
Approved payments, including charter Schools, for April 2024
Approved Construction payments for 2024
Approved Auditing Services
Approved Penn Fencing for work at the Intermediate School
Approved Concrete flooring at the HS Stadium bleacher area, catch basin, and sidewalk at the HS
Approved Electrician Services
Approved Weed Control by Team Turf
Approved Public School Facility Grant Improvement Application
Did not approve Administrative Regulation for Policy 002
