Real Testimonials in order of most recent first.
Our EP was out for four months and had very little visibility. We needed to grow our presence and get the music in front of people. CTWPromotions gave us exactly that. In one month, our MySpace and Facebook followers more than doubled, and our Twitter fans increased ten-fold. Even better, we picked up real fans, great feedback and interaction, and a few industry opportunities, thanks to the specific targeting CTW employs. We'd recommend CTW to any band serious about building their fan-base.

I received so many wonderful comments and reached tons of new people on MySpace thanks to CTW. Receiving all that positive feedback after releasing a new album from folks who may otherwise have not heard my music was really great. I highly recommend CTW if you're trying to reach a new audience and get honest feedback from true music fans

CTWPromotions did an outstanding job for our artist, Tino Tomas. They are a valid Marketing and Research Company that can truly increase an artist's visibility and contacts. Thanks to Mike, we have been contacted by several music industry professionals. Above all, Tino has gained many, many new fans. We will definitely use CTW Promotions for our future marketing campaigns.

CTWPromotions did an incredible job on our artist Renee Manning's campaign. They are quick, efficient and reliable. They don't just use adder bots, they actually do the research on the audience and fan base you are trying to reach. I would not hesitate to hire CTW again.

 | Build your Facebook and Mailing List

Since most traffic and networking is on Facebook these days we use your existing Myspace and Twitters to work towards as a funnel getting people to your Facebook page. It is disappointing that Facebook has become so prominent because of the levels of security and design of the site in the first place it really isn't meant for musicians. So where does the music go? It seems it has gone out wide to everyone else and there are many sites and many resources but none take up the traffic that Facebook does. So we need to leverage and use that traffic the best we can to promote our endeavors and get people to Facebook. We have methods as we have always adapted to the changing trends to get you results on all our platforms. We also now have the ability to assist you in building your email list directly from your Facebook page in tandem with our regular marketing work. I can only say that results are relative to each campaign and we cannot give you any concrete numbers on how many likes you will get because we don't do fake work. It's important to setup your Facebook apps to maximize any of the traffic we generate for you as well. You want to have your music and your mailing list already setup. As I touched on before and always a theme with the niche marketing environment we are in stay away from fakes. No matter how nice the website is if they generate massive amounts of likes they are fake. It's not possible to script them in any targeted means except maybe by country. Who cares if you have 1,000 likes on your page if they are not interested in what you are doing? The same principles that we have always had to deal with during the Myspace Era are around. There are many people out there who can make themselves look good and say they do legitimate work but it's the furthest from the truth about anything they do. The website hasn't been updated in a while but most of the information is still current and we will design a campaign to your budget 50, 75 or 100 a week. We cannot do anything lower than $50 so determine your budget and get in touch. |
 | Still here. Myspace fighting back.

Ok everyone I'm sending this newsletter out the same as I did the other week EXCEPT I will tell you that NO BULL ... This is a good time to get back onto Myspace. Due to changes in security and infrastructure the numbers of responses on Myspace have gone up considerably. Come back on board if you were a client before or come on board if you want to give us a try for a few weeks. *There has been a small raise in internet traffic on Myspace in the past week and overall Myspace is still ranked in the top 75 most popular internet sites. Facebook is ranked #2 and Twitter is ranked #9. The traffic is potentially everywhere. * Source Alexa.

Were still here everyone, unfortunately trends have lended to many platforms with a lot of security which hampers marketing efforts even completely targeted efforts however we still have a consulting and marketing platform for the three major platforms. We can develop a targeted campaign for you on Myspace, Facebook and Twitter. You can either pay 50$ a week or $100 a week and the difference is in of course the amount of work.

We have gone over this subject before but there are many fakes out there who claim to do marketing and promotions on social network platforms and since the facebook boom many have sprung up for this platform. Any site which claims you can "buy fans" or "buy likes" is completely fake. There is no possible way to legitimately target people to check out your artist page. Any one who is doing add fans on facebook is scripting them from fake profiles. Adding 10,000 likes from phony people has no benefit.

Myspace is still the most marketable platform coming from a smart marketers perspective. The keyword is targeted, despite traffic trends we can reach more people in general at any given time than any other website.

 | Facebook Conversions and using your own website as a portal - August 2010 | | As most of you know, since you have been on my list for quite some time, trends in social network marketing have changed. Most interaction has switched from Myspace to Facebook in recent months. This is not a good thing for Myspace musicians that rely upon their profiles for the hub of their activity to promote themselves. On the other hand, Facebook makes it really hard for musicians to use their profiles to attract new visitors. However, this is where your friends are spending most of their time. So the solution is to convert your existing Myspace fanbase to your Facebook page. I have been doing this type of work for some months now (fanbase conversions), I just haven't written an article/newsletter about it.
What we are now doing, with our typical subscription plans, is more cross marketing. We will use your existing Myspace list and create new targeted demographics for you to achieve this goal. This will also attract more people to your website, your twitter, your youtube channel or any other sites you employ in your daily efforts as a musician in this new music business climate.
It is important for every musician to have their own website to use as a portal for various platforms. The reason is because you cannot directly ask someone to be a friend on Facebook or Twitter because of Myspace spamming and filtering policies. We will direct your traffic to your website and in turn you will get those conversions. On top of that, we can briefly update your fans on what you are doing. Therefore, not only will they know where your main portal to all your sites will be, but they will know what you have been up to and you will see the conversion take place. Until Facebook redesigns or re invents itself for musicians, this is without a doubt the best way to convert your Myspace base to an active Facebook base.
