This is the 4th year that the Holiday Luncheon benefitted CTWI, and we are so appreciative of our partnership with our Council and our union affiliates, who have supported our workforce initiatives from the beginning. Despite the pandemic, we were able to continue to move forward, and just this year alone because of your generous contributions, we were able to

Place over 100 women, formerly incarcerated, and youth in union construction apprenticeship programs through our partnerships with local community-based organizations and Multi-Craft Core Curriculum pre-apprenticeship programs.

UNION CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM OPENINGS

Despite the pandemic, many union construction apprenticeship programs are beginning to open up their applications. Union construction careers provide quality training through their nationally recognized apprenticeship programs and economic security for workers – and their families – through higher wages and benefits. THESE ARE CAREERS, NOT JOBS!

Many of these trades require applicants to pass a written exam and oral interview. Attending CTWI’s Test Preparation Programs is the best way to help prepare you for these exams. The classes are free! To learn more, click here.

To learn more about the trades and how to apply, please visit our website.
