Faculty from Boston and Oakland will join colleagues in London for a hybrid roundtable to discuss how Northeastern can unleash its strengths in Urban Creativities—the application of creative Arts and Humanities practices in tandem with technology—to collaborate with local partners to meet the needs of local communities.
The featured speakers are Kris Manjapra, Stearns Trustee Professor of History and Global Studies; Uta Poiger, Special Advisor to the Provost on Humanics and Professor of History; Olly Ayers, Associate Professor of History; Lily Song, Assistant Professor, Race, Social Justice & the Built Environment; Pierre-Valery Njenji Tchetgen, Assistant Professor, Africana Studies, Literacy Studies, and Digital Humanities; Grisha Coleman, Professor in Theatre and Art and Design; Kirsten Saxton, Professor of English and Larry I. Lokey Endowed Chair in Ethics; and Mark Martin, Assistant Professor of Computer Science.
