RECOGNITION AND PUBLICATIONS

Natasha Frost, Associate Dean of Research, Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and Co-Director of the Center on Crime, Race, and Justice, has been elected President of the American Society of Criminology (ASC). Professor Frost will serve as President Elect in 2024 - 2025, President in 2025 - 2026, and immediate past-President in 2026-2027.

Kabria Baumgartner, Dean’s Associate Professor of History and Africana Studies, and Associate Director of Public History, has received the 2024 Award of Excellence from the American Association for State and Local History for the Newburyport Black History Initiative, her public history project.
