Americas Boating Club Winter Classes

Dolphin Yacht Club is working hard to create an Opening Day "After Party". More details to come, but they are working with the Port of Camas Washougal to plan a dinner, a band, and other good times for the day so please come by and join us in the fun.

The Daughters of Neptune Program is Rebuilding!

President Alicia Robinson has found someone to help rebuild the daughters program that so many have fond memories of. Imwa Buller of Dolphin Yacht Club has offered to help lead and create a program that we need to encourage girls to be a part of. We have at least 3 girls at this point, and hope others will join us. Alicia and Imwa will be reaching out to all the clubs to talk about this. Their first anticipated event will be opening day. You can contact them by emailing CRYA.daughters@gmail.com.

Jim Butler Memorial Service

Jim Butler passed away on Saturday, February 11th at 83. He was a PYC member since 1986 serving as Commodore in 1994. Jim dedicated much of his time to PYC, and has made a number of contributions to the club as a Member, Trustee, and an Officer. He was also on the CRYA Standing Committee from 2003-2015 attending countless meetings and working heavily with the Multnomah County River Patrol. He knew the Columbia River well, and gave back his time for all of us to have a better river to boat on.

The memorial service to celebrate the life of Jim Butler will be on Wednesday, April 5th at 2pm at Abundant Life Church

Metro Service District has announced a Boat Turn in Program Designed to reduce abandoned and derelict boats. The program will run until June 30, 2023 or until funds are exhausted.

America's Boating Channel will be a new Smart TV Channel Application that will be dedicated to boating that will be available on your TV.
