Have you changed or added a practice site and not yet informed the College?

If you have had a change in employment or started a private practice, you are required to report this to the College so that your Public Register profile remains up to date. This information must be correct and complete before December 31, 2022 in order to ensure that the picture of Registered Psychotherapists and the services registrants provide is accurately reflected in the Ontario Health Professions Database. This database is a critical source of information, used by the Ministry of Health to inform health human resources planning. Given the increasing need for mental health supports and services that we have seen over the past year, it is particularly important that you ensure your information is complete.

You can find information about Updating Your Public Register or Personal Contact Information on the CRPO website. Please take a minute to check your profile and to make any needed updates by logging into your CRPO account.

Education Program Recognized

The Spiritual Psychotherapy program at the Transformational Arts College is the latest educational program to receive academic recognition from CRPO. This means that the program sufficiently enables students to develop the required competencies for entry-to-practice in psychotherapy. Visit our website for more information about the recognition process or to review the other recognized programs.

Whether or not a CRPO registrant can provide such documentation requires careful consideration and professional judgement.

Non-Council Member Appointment

Are you an RP looking to contribute your knowledge and skills as a CRPO non-council member appointment? We are currently looking to appoint five (5) RPs to CRPO committees. Click here to see what knowledge and skills we are looking for, how to apply, and whether you are eligible.

Please do not unsubscribe. CRPO uses email to communicate with registrants about important College updates. If you choose to unsubscribe, it is then your responsibility to regularly check our website to keep yourself informed about your College obligations. It is the responsibility of each registrant to make sure CRPO has your current contact information, updated within 30 days of a change, and ensure that the organization you work for does not block CRPO emails.
