Report Suspicious Activity!!

If you SEE something, SAY something.

Immediately reporting strange behavior or activities is the best way to prevent crime in your neighborhoods.
Community Members,
We have had a string of break-ins to cars over the last two days.  They are occurring in the residential neighborhood north of Hwy 58 and east of Ford Street.
Criminals are entering unlocked vehicles or breaking the windows of cars where they see something they want.
Preventing Break-ins

Vehicles parked along city streets or in isolated areas can be targets for theft.  These thefts are referred to as "smash and grabs".  Criminals will often target vehicles that are parked in dark and isolated areas.
Valuables left in plain view in the vehicle also make easy targets for criminals to quickly break a window and grab them.
Always keep your valuables out of plain view when parking your vehicle.  Store items under seats or in the trunk.  Otherwise, take your valuables with you.
Also, remove all GPS, cell phones, tablets, laptops, accessories, and any other electronics or desirable items from plain view when parking your vehicle.
Don't be a victim of theft:
  • Lock your vehicle!
  • Take your keys!
  • Hide your belongings!
  • Report suspicious behavior!
