Insights for Healthcare Leaders & Change Makers
Dear HCEG Colleagues and Friends:

Who says healthcare is slow to change? We have probably seen more change and innovation in the last 10 weeks than we have seen in the last 10 years. Some things considered disruptive innovations in the past have quickly become new standard practices – witness telehealth.

Even though we are still in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, with lots of unknowns and uncertainty, it is becoming very clear that “necessity is the mother of invention,” with so many new approaches to health and well-being. Many of these new approaches address the HCEG 2020 Top 10 priorities. There are many accelerated efforts underway for healthcare to step up with new solutions. We are addressing very difficult challenges that we never thought would be possible just a few short years – or even just months - ago.

HCEG is pleased to share a number of those things in this month’s HCEG newsletter and encourage you to check out the links to innovative articles and posts, new HCEG partner initiatives and ongoing discussions that will help each of us lead our organizations through these challenges, issues, and opportunities. That is the core of HCEG’s mission - “Guiding Healthcare Executives through Innovation, Change and Growth.”

Be safe and stay well,

Executive Director
The HealthCare Executive Group (HCEG)

Results and analysis of survey responses are underway and will be shared in a couple weeks via this newsletter and other channels. In the meantime, you can access 2020 Industry Pulse research here.

New Approach for the 2021 HCEG Top 10 List
11th Annual HCEG Top 10 List
Given the “Everything’s Virtual” world brought by the coronavirus pandemic, we’re going to be taking a new approach to creating next year's HCEG Top 10 list.

Instead of being centered around our Annual Forum, the identification of the challenges, issues, and opportunities facing industry leadership will be opened to a larger group of participants this year and, of course, take place virtually.

If you’d like to participate in the initial planning of the 2021 HCEG Top 10 list, reach out to us here.
