CORRECTION: In today's edition of Inside Connections, it was incorrectly stated that Auraria West Station would be closed this summer as part of the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project. Auraria West Station will remain open, while Colfax at Auraria Station will be closed due to the project. To ensure all employees have access to accurate information, a corrected version of Inside Connections is being sent. Thank you.

TIC celebrates impressive call response metrics ahead of busy summer season

“Please hold, your call is very important to us.” Any person who has called a customer support hotline has likely heard this very line repeated ad nauseam while remaining in a queue for sometimes hours on end. For RTD’s Customer Care team, Telephone Information Center (TIC) agents rarely give customers the chance to hear it due to rapid response times.

Human Resources staff save critical documents from being deleted

“I would like to commend Aliya Gregory and Darian Xiong in HR Support Services. Aliya and Darian exemplify teamwork and a can-do attitude. We recently discovered that some documents we scanned had been deleted from our scan file, and Aliya and Darian jumped right in to secure and sort the documents to be rescanned before they go off to the shred truck."

A clarification: In last week’s edition of Inside Connections, work shared by two members of RTD’s planning staff at the Colorado Transportation Symposium was mischaracterized as a panel discussion. “Onward with TOD in the Denver/Boulder region” was a presentation given by Bill Sirois, Senior Manager of Transit Oriented Communities, and Alicia Leitgeb, Transit Oriented Development Transportation Planner. Susan Wood, FAICP, Planning Project Manager II, moderated a multimodal transportation panel that included this and other topics.
