Compromise Reached on State Control of Atlantic City's Finances 

On January 26, Governor Chris Christie, Senate President Stephen Sweeney and Atlantic City Mayor Donald Guardian held a press conference announcing that a compromise had been reached to allow the state to take control of Atlantic City's finances for a period of no longer than five years.
