Join the Fairfax County Zero Waste Focus Group
You're invited to participate in a focus group aimed at gathering perceptions, challenges, and motivations related to Fairfax County's waste management system. This session presents an opportunity for your Homeowners Association to shape future initiatives that affect our neighborhoods.
Purpose: The purpose of the focus group is to gather feedback and opinions on zero-waste, recycling, food scrap composting, and other related sustainable material management topics. The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors adopted the Zero Waste Plan in November 2021, and the County is now in the process of drafting actionable strategies to achieve its zero-waste goals. Feedback from this session will help the county refine its strategies for the zero-waste plan.
