Mortgage Payoff!

Habitat Staff and Board would like to congratulate Virginia Fullerlove for paying off her 25 year, no interest mortgage recently! She built her home in 1999, and all her hard work building and making payments has literally paid off. Fullerlove came to our office and handed us the final payment with great joy and excitement...though also mixed emotions. “I can’t believe it’s happening; it doesn’t feel real yet” she said. Normal First United Methodist Church has been busy "decorating houses for birds to build houses for people." Visit their auction page to bid on these wonderful bird houses and many more! Proceeds from the auction will help build affordable housing right here in McLean County! Bidding runs through September 5th, so get your bids in today.

Welcome gearheads, weekend wrenchers, automotive enthusiasts, any and all spectators, kids and adults! Join us at the 2nd Annual Walter Bratcher Memorial Car Show.


There will be tons to do so bring the whole family. Gates open at 11am and judging will start at 12pm. Awards will be announced at 2pm – must be present to win. Classes will be determined at a later date.


There will be food, live music, kids activities, silent auction, goodie bags (for a donation), and MUCH MORE! All proceeds go Habitat for Humanity of McLean County’s Heroes of Habitat home. Join us for the much anticipated 2nd Annual Volleypalooza Tournament!


CRAFTED, Gill Street Sports Bar & Restaurant, Kegler’s Pub & Windjammer have teamed up again to support four local charities in an all-day sand volleyball tournament.


Boys & Girls Club, Child Protection Network, Children’s Home & Aid and Habitat for Humanity will split all proceeds from the day’s event!
