May 2024

Chief's Welcome

Summer is upon us and so is the season for those who want to enter vehicles and steal the possessions you work hard for every day. However, you made it easy for thieves because you left your car unlocked with your key fob in the cupholder. Better yet, you left your wallet or purse in your vehicle, so now the criminal has your personal identification and the key to your bank account. Am I making this up? No, unfortunately I am not.

Please help us by taking your possessions, your key, and your personnel effects out of your car before you lock it. With your assistance, we will reduce the number of autos entered in our City which will continue to improve the quality of life for you and your family. As always, thank you so much for your support and for your partnership. Together, we will make a difference for our wonderful Johns Creek community.

Humbled, honored, and blessed to serve,

~ Chief Mark Mitchell

Chief of Police
