As a part of our

Camper in Leadership Training program, campers share their talents with the community and participate in 10 or more hours of service.

When I was a patient,

I was visited by a SOAR volunteer

who spoke to me about what my life would be like after I left the hospital.

She showed me her scars and spoke about how her life has changed in positive ways.

In a very dark time in my life,

she gave me a ray of hope.

Volunteering has been an extremely gratifying experience because I get to help someone else in the same way that SOAR volunteer helped me. I get to share my story and my journey in a positive way and meet people who are only just starting their journeys.
