Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Volunteer Opportunity
CNYWBA Members are invited to serve as volunteer judges for the annual Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition at the  50th Annual Regional Convention of the  Northeast Black Law Student Association (NEBLSA). The competition will take place in Albany, NY and is set to begin on Thursday, January 25th and end on Saturday, January 27th.

The New York State Office of the Attorney General's  Medicaid Fraud Control Unit's Civil Enforcement Division, based primarily in New York City, is seeking experienced litigators to direct complex civil fraud investigations in the healthcare industry, utilizing the New York State False Claims Act, Social Services Law ยง145-b, and the Executive Law, and to handle asset forfeiture actions and other matters involving civil remedies. Reference No. MFCU_NYC_SAAG/CIV_3133

The New York State Office of the Attorney General's  Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in New York City is seeking experienced prosecuting attorneys who will lead investigations of financial fraud in the healthcare industry, present evidence to grand juries, and conduct evidentiary hearings and trials in New York State courts. Applicants for prosecutorial positions should have substantial grand jury and trial experience that preferably includes the investigation and prosecution of financial crimes. Experience drafting and overseeing the execution of search and eavesdropping warrants is a plus.
