Baroness Properties
A special thanks to Peggy Steele - Baroness Properties for hosting our CNN today!
Peggy Steele began by telling us that she is on Facebook, and you can follow her to see the progress Baroness Properties is making! She is a Coffeyville girl, born and raised here.

Her grandparents bought the home we were in today in 1917. Her family sold the home in the 1973. The home was originally 800 sq. feet, and her grandparents raised a family of 6 there. When Peggy came back to Coffeyville for her 50th class reunion, she was so upset to see that her family's old home was abandoned. She later found out that the home was going to be sold as a tax sale. She ended up buying 17 properties.

She has now finished three homes on 9th street. The next one to be finished is at 909 W 9th. A resident is helping with the renovations so be sure to look for all the changes soon!

Their next focus will be young people or neighbors who want to buy, but they don't know how and people who have a will and skills to fix up their property.

This is a mission of love for Peggy. She asked us to look around her home and wants us to know that they are really committed to Coffeyville and helping people understand what can be in old Coffeyville.

Peggy let us us know about Vive La Ville coming up on October 14th. There will be a color walk, art show, and street fair and music in the evening. The Boys & Girls Club and high school art classes, as well as any other groups that want to participate will be yarn bombing 9th street the week before the event. They really need your support; there are sponsorship opportunities. Peggy finished by telling us how thrilled she is we were there today!
