CIVIC Co-Location at CPRC for Local Government Employees

Central Pines Regional Council became the 4th location for CIVIC Federal Credit Union’s co-locations, which are in and near local government centers across the state. This allows local government employees to have face to face video interactions with CIVIC staff. We have set up an iPad in our office so folks can chat with someone and handle banking needs. Feel free to stop in and use these services if you're in the area!

Tri-COG FEEDS Regional Convening - May 14

There will be a Tri-COG FEEDS (Food Ecosystem Economic Development Strategy) Regional Convening on Thursday, May 14 from 10 am - 3:30 pm at the NC Rural Economic Development Center in Raleigh. This is a day for food system practitioners, technical assistance providers, community members, local government officials, planners, and economic developers to come together on common goals to invest in and strengthen our regional food ecosystem infrastructure. Join us as we explore the intersection between community centered farm and food businesses and economic development, review key project findings and collaboratively develop a shared vision and understanding of the relationships and roles between us. During this convening, we plan to explore future funding opportunities for implementation, inform a 17-County Regional Strategy, and continue to support regional discussions around the food system to inform local leaders.
