|
|
The Early Days: Cleburne, Cow Town
Throughout it's history, Cleburne has epitomized the adventurous essence of Texas like few other places.
In its early years, cowboys guided cattle along the legendary Chisholm Trail en route to Kansas, while steam locomotives roared into the town's bustling train station. Meanwhile, Main Street bustled with activity as locals frequented shops and saloons.

Today: Outdoors Adventures
Nowadays, while there are fewer cowboys and cattle, especially as close to the city as Cleburne is now, there are still many reasons to go explore the city.
It boasts top-tier fishing holes at Lake Pat Cleburne, some of the state's best mountain biking trails at Cleburne State Park, and golfers can play a round at the Cleburne Golf Links
It's also home to the Cleburne Railroaders - a new minor league baseball team
