National Immunization Awareness Month

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) and August 4-10 is HPV Vaccine Week. Vaccines are needed throughout your life.

Make sure you are up to date on your vaccines!

NEW DIRECT REFERRALS

Senior Nutrition Site, Oceanside Corps

Serves hot lunches to seniors and their spouses. Social activities vary but include games, crafts, outings, and speakers who address topics of interest.

Eligibility: Adults ages 60 years and older

Area Served: North Coastal Region

CIE Partner Community Enhancements Coming Soon!

Based on partner feedback, we’re making updates to the process of finding referrals, searching for clients, and authorizing clients in CIE.

We’re excited to roll out these changes.

Attend a scheduled demo to learn more.

Each demo is one hour long and will cover the same topics with Q&A at the end.

Equity Impact Grant

The County of San Diego's Office of Equity and Racial Justice (OERJ) and the Nonprofit Institute at the University of San Diego (NPI) have opened the second round of funding for the Equity Impact Grant (EIG) Program to support 10 qualified San Diego-based social impact organizations/initiatives with $100,000 in general operating support grants.

Applications are due by Friday, August 23, at 5 pm.

CIE Partner Gathering

The CIE Partner Network works to improve the overall service delivery system for clients. Our meeting provides a forum for partners to share updates about ongoing CIE Initiatives, share trends in our community, and collaborate on how we as a network are leveraging our partnership, data sharing, and the CIE technology platform to address the social determinants of health and increase health equity.

Join us for a range of content. Each month, we may dive into the latest technology projects, elicit feedback on the platform’s care coordination tools, or spotlight programs and supports for unique populations. The partner gathering is a space to engage with peers across our shared network. Join us on the 4th Thursday of every month (except November and December) at 9:00 am via Zoom.
