Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is a congregation that
values a diversity of belief. Whether you're full of faith or full of doubt,
you'll find people who have been there and accept you for where you are.

We welcome all people to worship, pray, eat, seek spiritual answers and enjoy life within this community of faith. All are welcome!
Thank You For Serving!
Our Bed Building event in partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace was a blast! We were able to set a new record for the most beds built in a single gathering, with the help of almost 50 people working together! It could not have worked out more perfectly, the weather was nice and the rain stayed away until the last few moments of work was wrapping up. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to help make this mission event a success!
This Sunday in Worship
All are welcome to share the Peace of Christ in the Parlor with coffee and fellowship before worship, beginning at 9:30am. Hope to see you there!
Sunday's Scripture:
John 20:19-23, NRSV
Acts 2:1-21, NRSV

Sermon Title:
"Filled Not With Wine..."

Pentecost occurs this coming Sunday and CHPC is excited to participate in the annual PC(USA) Pentecost Offering. This special offering unites us in a church-wide effort to support young people and inspire them to share their faith, ideas, and unique gifts with the church and the world. You can learn more about this meaningful special offering by visiting the Presbyterian Special Offerings website here and may give online here.
Habitat Faith Build Updates
CHPC is participating in the 2023 Habitat Faith Build to help build Marquetta and her family a new home.  Due to some site preparation challenges, the schedule had to be adjusted and work delayed. As a result, CHPC has been asked to move our build week to June 7-10. Apologies for this delay, but we hope that you will still make helping out with Habitat a priority!

On the bright side, we have good news: we have reached our financial goal of $5,765 for this Habitat build! Thanks to everyone who helped to contribute in this way. But we still need help! A new signup sheet for our new build week has been placed in the Narthex. Please consider signing up to help serve in this vital ministry. We need 8 volunteers each day. If you plan to sign up, please also complete a release and waiver and return it to Mary’s box. Thank you for your support!
