The 2021 Officer Nominating Committee (ONC) is authorized by the Session to accept suggestions from church members to serve as Elders for the class of 2024, Trustees for the class of 2024, and members of the 2022 Officer Nominating Committee.
From the names you suggest, and dependent upon the work of the Holy Spirit, the ONC will move a slate of five individuals for your approval as Elders, two individuals as Trustees, as well as three individuals to serve on next year’s ONC. In accordance with the Book of Order, a congregational meeting to elect officers has been called by the Session after worship on Sunday, November 21. The deadline for returning your suggestions is Monday, November 1. You may offer your submissions by completing a nomination form and returning it to the church office or emailing it to Jan directly.

Upcoming Exterior Facility Repairs
|
|
Some major repairs to the exterior of our church facility have been recommended by the Building & Facilities Committee and approved by Session. This exciting work includes: repair of the exterior wood trim (including the steeple) and gutters, painting of the exterior trim and doors, and replacement of the shingle roofing. Bids were obtained and contracts awarded for execution of this work which is scheduled to begin in November. It is expected to be complete before year-end, weather-permitting.
This exciting work is necessary to properly maintain our church facility in order to continue to provide the beautiful place of worship and outreach that we are so blessed to have. Thank you for your support and please keep the safety of the contractors that will be performing this work in your prayers.

Thank you for your willingness to love thy neighbor in these ways as we seek to faithfully serve in Christ's name.
