Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is a congregation that

values a diversity of belief. Whether you're full of faith or full of doubt,

you'll find people who have been there and accept you for where you are.

We welcome all people to worship, pray, eat, seek spiritual answers and enjoy life within this community of faith. All are welcome!

Don't Forget About Sunday's

Annual Worship Volunteer Training

It's not too late to sign up for this Sunday's worship volunteer training. All are welcome to join in the gym at 12pm to learn about the various ways you can help serve in worship. It takes many volunteers to make each service happen and this is the perfect opportunity to learn how you can help serve as a liturgist, usher, or communion preparer. Lunch will be provided so please RSVP below to ensure we have enough sub sandwiches to go around!

This week's worship service includes the celebration of ordination and installation for new church officers. The entire congregation is invited to wear red as a sign of thanks for the good work of the Holy Spirit in calling these church leaders into service on behalf of our church family.

Blessing Box Highlight: January

Thank you for your continued support and stewardship of our Blessing Box! Because of your kindness, there are many people in our community who are being served with food and other necessities. For the month of January, we would like to continue emphasizing the collection of can goods to warm the hearts and souls of our neighbors in need.

Don't forget that our annual partnership with Troop 48, Scouting for food, will begin soon! Large donation barrels from Second Harvest Food Bank are located in the narthex to begin collecting food. These donations will be divided between our local blessing box and our local community food bank. Scout Sunday will be held on February 4 when we will give thanks for all donations collected. Thank you for your generosity in supporting those in our community who find themselves in need!

Thanks again for all you do to Love our Neighbors,

Your Missions Committee

Habitat for Humanity Women's Build

The Women's Ministry is sponsoring an outing on Wednesday, January 17 to join a Women's Build hosted by Holston Habitat for Humanity. This is a wonderful opportunity for women to work together and serve in their community. Volunteers will work under the guidance of construction professionals and alongside other volunteers to build a home for Chris, Christina, and their three children in Kingsport, TN.

Due to the activities planned for this date, volunteers must be at least 16 years old. To support Chris & Christina's building costs, there is a $25 Participation Donation. Women Build volunteers will receive a boxed lunch and a commemorative t-shirt. Any woman who wants to learn how to build and construct a home is invited to join us! No experience is necessary.

Click below to sign up. If you plan on attending, contact Brenda Clark so you can join the carpooling from the church, as there is limited parking on site.
