Dear friends:

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Children’s Hope India has launched the COVID-19 Relief Campaign to benefit our on-the-ground programs as we respond to the most critical needs of vulnerable children and their families.

We are providing cash grants, meals, remote learning, hygiene supplies and medical care. Please consider supporting this effort, so that we may continue to help impoverished children in India and in New York.
CHI Empowers Refugee
Women To Sew Masks
In Jodhpur, CHI’s partner UJAS works with hundreds of refugee families who have fled
religious extremism in Pakistan only to meet further challenges in India. Today, the needs of this impoverished community have become more urgent than ever as they face the threat of COVID-19.

Sewing Masks For The Community: Enterprising female residents are learning how to sew masks, and have already supplied 1,500 to a private hospital for elderly and sick patients, and healthcare workers, all of whom are victims to a severe shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Access To Clean Water & Hand-Washing Units: Without access to clean water and soap, members of the community are particularly vulnerable to infection. CHI is setting up hand-washing stations, giving out soaps and sanitizers, and educating the community on disease prevention.

Making At-Home Learning Possible: Resident children lack access to formal education, so we are providing downloadable remote learning resources like videos and programs designed by our coaches and teachers.

Protecting A Vulnerable Community’s Health:  CHI is providing resident children with vitamins and nutritious meals. We are also bringing a medical doctor into the community to treat residents and supply critical medicines.
Please consider making a contribution today so that we can ensure communities like this one get the crisis support they need.

Be well,
Executive Director, Children’s Hope India
