Where are the clean energy projects in your state?

As part of the Good Jobs Initiative, the U.S. Dept of Labor is tracking clean energy projects that could potentially be eligible for the Inflation Reduction Act's enhanced tax incentives. This interactive map displays clean energy projects that are under construction or in a pre-construction phase, sortable by sector and state. For each project, the map and the following downloadable spreadsheet identify the project location, sector, size, company, name, status, and estimated number of construction jobs.

See how your state is benefiting from unprecedented capital investments and jobs announcements for clean energy manufacturing, projects, and related industries.

CONSERVATIVE VOICES ON CLEAN ENERGY

Let's talk about property rights

Two different op-eds appeared recently from conservative voices on the issues of clean energy and property rights. In the first, Ray Gaesser of the Iowa Conservative Energy Forum states that when opponents of clean energy argue on behalf of private property rights, they often go too far by calling to restrict the property rights of anyone who wants to lease their land for a solar project. In the other op-ed, Skyler Zunk of Energy Right presents a similar case in Virginia, where only solar development needs only 0.5% of the state’s land to hit its energy goals.
