According to Josh Bass of the Currituck County Chamber of Commerce (NC), “Because the solar company made an early connection with the chamber and other economic development orgs, we built a good relationship. Early engagement, support for the chamber, even once the plant goes operational, as well as support for the local non-profits and working with local elected officials, really is key.” Watch the recording here.
