The message at CLEANPOWER 2024 was clear: jobs, competitiveness, and economic impact


The economic case for clean energy deployment was a through line across the 50+ sessions at American Clean Power's recent CLEANPOWER 2024 annual conference. The event brought together 10,000 attendees including entrepreneurs, technical experts, and business leaders from every corner of the industry and country, along with 500+ exhibitors.

Webinar Recap: Utility-Scale Solar in NC


Last week, CICE partnered with the Carolinas Clean Energy Business Association to discuss utility-scale solar development in North Carolina. According to Josh Bass of the Currituck County Chamber of Commerce (NC), “Because the solar company made an early connection with the chamber and other economic development orgs, we built a good relationship. Early engagement, support for the chamber, even once the plant goes operational, as well as support for the local non-profits and working with local elected officials, really is key.” Watch the recording here.
