Commissioning Service June 18th 9am Service
Please join us Sunday June 18th at the 9am service as we offer up prayers for safe travels to Wrightsville PA on the annual Youth Mission Trip leaving June 24th. Our group of 8 youth and 4 adults look forward to the experience of meeting others from across the country, spending time in devotions, witnessing God sightings, and serving those in this community. The love and support of the CGS family allows us the opportunity to serve those outside our community.
Summer Flowers
With the beginning of the summer service schedule we, once again, would like to have donations of flowers from the gardens of parishioners for the Sunday altars. If this is something you would like to do please notify Peg Wehner at pegwehner44@gmail.com

CGS Youth Mission Trip – Wrightsville, PA – Community Gift
As the countdown begins for the Mission Trip to Wrightsville, PA at the end of June, we are focused on those final items on the check list. One of these is the “Community Gift”. Along with serving we are asked to help the community in providing various items for the host church’s food pantry, schools, etc. A box will be placed in the office for the following items that have been requested by the host church. This is our gift from our community to theirs. If there are any questions, please reach out to John or Nancy.
Toiletries – toothpaste (no large tubes), toothbrushes, soap, and deodorant
School Supplies – crayons, markers, pencils, colored pencils, pens, highlighters, notebooks, pocket folders, glue sticks, erasers, pencil cases (small)

June 18 Parish Hall Lounge 10 a.m.
Laurie Frankel's This Is How It Always Is is a novel about revelations, transformations, fairy tales, and family. Frankel's slightly askew voice, exemplified by Rosie and Penn's nontraditional gender roles, keeps the narrative sharp and surprising. This is a wonderfully contradictory story—heartwarming and generous, yet written with a wry sensibility. Chosen especially for PRIDE month.

Nashua Prep for Pride - June 18th, 10am
Hello fellow CGS members!! For those of you who do not know me my name is Seth Bonvouloir and I’m the chair of the new Social Justice Committee here at CGS. I would like to invite you to join us on Sunday June 18th at 10AM after the service as we host "Prep for Pride."
Everyone is invited to make signs in preparation for Nashua Pride which is the following Saturday June 24th from 2-6PM. We are looking for people to come make signs at Prep for Pride along with attend Pride Event itself showing the community what we here at CGS symbolize which is God’s infinite and all consuming love of everyone. Hope to see as many of you there can attend both at Prep for Pride and at Pride itself!!
