CBRE's Colorado Market Leader Pete Schippits will share examples of global trends in workplace strategy being implemented at Colorado companies-including within CBRE's own walls.  
  • It's no longer limited to tech companies and beanbag chairs. Today traditional industries are beginning to rethink their workplaces as a powerful tool in the war for talent.
  • CBRE's Workplace Strategy Group specializes in helping companies adapt their office space to embrace the next evolution of the workplace, based on how their specific employees work.
  • In 2014 CBRE decided to walk the walk and launched a global initiative called Workplace360. Starting with the firm's Los Angeles headquarters, CBRE is transforming its offices market-by-market to become free-address, paperless environments driven by employee choice.
  • In Colorado, the Workplace360 transformation began with CBRE's downtown Denver office in 2016, followed by its Colorado Springs office earlier this year.
  • At this event, CBRE's Colorado Market Leader Pete Schippits will discuss the journey CBRE has undertaken in addition to sharing photos and stories from other companies that have recently revolutionized their workplaces.

Pete Schippits is the Senior Managing Directorand Market Leader for CBRE's Colorado region. In this role, he oversees all CBRE service lines spanning five offices in Colorado and approximately 665 employees. Through strategic leadership, Pete works to advance the brand and reinforce how CBRE builds real advantage for its clients.
A well-regarded leader in Colorado commercial real estate, Pete's previous experience includes being one of the state's most successful office leasing experts. Prior to joining CBRE, Pete was a Managing Director of Investor Services at JLL where he focused on growing that firm's Agency Leasing, Property Management, Industrial and Capital Markets businesses. His accomplishments include leasing assets comprising more than 11 million square feet for more than 20 different institutional owners, including some of Denver's most iconic office towers. Before JLL, Pete was a practicing attorney in real estate, business and tax planning for Gelt & Grassgreen P.C., a boutique tax law firm in Denver.

CFO and Controllers Roundtable for 2018!
 
When we are not meeting in the Denver Tech Center, at the offices of the Colorado Society of CPAs this coming year we will take our show on the road.  We are grateful for those who have committed space to hold our monthly Roundtables.  We start at 8:00am with networking and a continental breakfast until 8:30, followed by a one hour roundtable presentation and discussion.
