Do You Need Help This Holiday Season?
The Joy to the Children Project is starting a bit late this year due to the Covid pandemic and the delay in getting sponsors.

This years J2TC's project will NOT look like it has in the past. We are NOT ABLE to collect or distribute toys or clothes as we have been doing for the last 20 years.

This year we are trying to get diapers, wipes, some basic necessities and gift cards. The requirements for returning families are the same as last year and the application link will be emailed out to eligible families the week of Nov. 2nd. All required programs will need to be done by October 30th for returning families. If you have never applied for the Joy to the Children Project, there are no activity requirements the first year, and if you are in need this year, please email Gina McGarrigle at gmcgarrigle@selfhelpinc.org for the application link. There are many families in need this year, so PLEASE do not apply unless you really need it. If you anticipate needing help this year, and you have applied to the J2TC project in the past, please make sure that your activity requirements have been met. You will not receive an application if your activity requirements are not met.

Please note that submission of an application does NOT mean automatic acceptance into the Joy to the Children Project. Acceptance is dependent upon the donations that we receive.

If you have any questions please email Gina McGarrigle at gmcgarrigle@selfhelpinc.org
CAN YOU HELP A FAMILY IN NEED?
The holiday season is quickly approaching and this year we are expecting many more families to be in need of holiday assistance for their children through our Joy to the Children Project (J2TC).

Due to the current Covid crisis we will not be able to assist families the way we have in the past where we have provided specific clothes and toys that are on a child's wish list.
 Instead
If you are able to help there are 3 ways in which we can accept donations:

  • Make a cash/check donation. CFCE will use this money to purchase gift cards for families who have submitted a J2TC application.
  • Donate gift cards that will be given to families to help with their holiday needs and/or basic needs.
  • Make a donation of an essential item such as diapers, wipes, food, socks, underwear, coats, hats, gloves etc.

Any support would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping these families to have a wonderful and joyous holiday season.

please contact GINA MCGARRIGLE directly at gmcgarrigle@selfhelpinc.org .
