Applications Open for the Oncology Summer Internship (OSI)

The OSI is a 4-week immersive program for first year medical students interested in exploring the field of oncology and serving Orange County's diverse populations. This comprehensive and full-time program integrates clinical shadowing, networking, and mentorship, enriched by weekly reflections and social activities. UCI and PacBIO SMRT Sequencing Grant Application

The Genomics Research andTechnology Hub (GRT Hub) at UCI is collaborating with PacBio to offer a grant program to support novel long read sequencing projects at UCI. The winning project will be awarded a credit for one library prep and one Revio SMRT Cell. Additionally, UCI and PacBio will select up to 5 runner-up projects to receive a 20% discount on consumables required to run a single SMRT Cell pilot experiment. UC Irvine-led study links biomarkers and chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal symptoms
