Blackstone Credit Market Outlook

Please join The CFA Society Portland at the University Club on February 20th for a luncheon with Gordon McKemie, CFA.

Gordon McKemie, CFA, is a Managing Director and portfolio manager within Blackstone Credit & Insurance’s Liquid Credit Strategies group. Mr. McKemie will be providing a topical look into the U.S. liquid credit markets.

In this update Mr. McKemie will provide:

• Macro update
• The current state of the U.S. corporate credit market 
• A discussion on the relative value between high yield bonds and senior loans

Gordon McKemie is a Managing Director and a Portfolio Manager of the closed-end and exchange-traded funds in Blackstone Credit’s Liquid Credit Strategies (“LCS”) unit.

Prior to joining Blackstone Credit, then known as GSO Capital Partners, in 2012 Mr. McKemie was an Associate in Leveraged Finance at Citigroup and an Assistant Vice President in high yield research at Barclays Capital. He began his career at Lehman Brothers.

Mr. McKemie received a BBA with a concentration in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and is a CFA charterholder.
