We welcome Izzy's Formals to our membership! They have been in town a couple of years off of Highway 55 and just moved to their new downtown location in the old A Wreath of Franklin space, opening on July 5th

Mother-in-Law/Daughter-in-Law duo Melissa and Rachel Lawler are excited to be in their new space in the heart of the town. They are open Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-5 Thursdays from 10-6 and Tuesday and Saturdays by appointment. They will be open all four days of occasional sale weekends. When the season is right for it - such as Homecoming and prom etc... - they are open more hours as needed to accommodate.

Izzy's Formals has over 1000 prom dresses in sizes 00-28 and 150 wedding gowns in sizes 4-30 from various designers. These can be new or previously worn. They even do wedding dress preservation - meaning they will treat stains and tears so you can keep your dress looking good as new!

Don't forget about the men and others in a wedding! They offer Tuxedo rental and purchase and have all sorts of flower girl, ring bearer, mother of the bride/groom apparel and all the accessories to go with. New in this space, they are offer little girl (not necessarily formal) dresses.

They will do consignment, but right now are not taking any consigned items. Watch their social media for updates there.

Izzy's sponsored a Buffalo Days Royalty candidate, and their candidate Laura Ryder is now one of our Buffalo Princess Ambassadors! Way to get involved in the community - thank you for that and being part of the Chamber family! Official Grand Opening and ribbon cutting to come!

The Ambassador group met with Co-owner, Mariel Novacek, at Forge and enjoyed learning more about what is offered there and how it evolved to offer so much more than what people may think. It is no longer a Crossfit gym - but a place where they run their own programming for adults and kids of all ages.

They have 5 classes a day, typically with a maximum of 20 people so they can spend one on one time and show ways to modify moves. They offer youth athletic training - even having a batting cage inside! They have youth camps for 7–10-year-olds and 11–17-year-olds. They have a community calendar to emphasize that the gym community is part of the larger community.

New is a cold plunge bath, which helps in muscle recovery. You can alternate the sauna and cold bath as therapy. Mariel has her Physical Therapy room inside as well (Optimal Function Physical Therapy & Wellness) where she uses the gym space for her treatments as well as dry needling and soft tissue work.

They encourage gentle recovery - walking, yoga, Pilates, and supplements sold there.

CELEBRATING ANNIVERSARIES

The Chamber caught up on some anniversary recognitions these past couple weeks! Deservedly so, these members were greeted with cookies or flowers and a big thank you for their years of membership!

Meet Darren Fischer, owner, and Sara from Countryside Diesel. We thanked them with cookies for the crew for their 5 years of Chamber membership!

We celebrated 10 years of membership as they were celebrating their 10 years of business at Healthsource Chiropractic! Dr. Kristin and Dr. Hannah and all the staff were decked out in in fun photo op accessories. We were seeing stars (like they are)!

MidCountry Bank has been a Chamber member for 25 years! We grabbed Quinn, Brenna, Jayme and Stephanie for a quick shot! A big thanks for all they do - they have been very involved with the Chamber from the get to! Missing, is Area Manager Denise Koch who has served on the Chamber Board for several years.

We were fortunate to have most of the crew available when we popped in at Russell Security Resource! In front is Karen Point and Russel Point, owners, with Jennifer and Patrick. In the back is Pam, Adam, Joe, Tyler and Andrew. Thanks Russ for all you do for the Chamber and the community!
