Friends and Family Event

Come join CECW staff on Wednesday, July 17^th from 2-4pm, for an afternoon of fun, making new friends, and connecting with your peers from last year. This invitation is for CECW students, families, and their friends. Come and go as you would like. You do not have to stay the whole time and you don’t need to sign up! We would just love to see your smiles this summer! Don’t forget to bring a water bottle for a hot summer day.  

2024-25 School Year Back to School/Open House

CECW will be holding three Back to School/Open House sessions for ALL CECW families Tuesday, August 6^th from 12 – 1:30, 2 – 3:30, and 4 – 5:30pm. This is a time to hear about the changes at CECW, pick up schedules, get your school photo taken, and meet the teachers. ID’s will be required to enter the school building beginning August 7^th, so be sure to sign up here for a time when your family can attend.

A Message from Transportation

Hello, Colorado Early College Families!

It is that time of year again. With this school year ending and prospects of a new school year looming around the corner, we ask that you take a few quick minutes to file a request for your student’s transportation needs. School bus spots will fill up quick and transportation will be met on a “first-come first-served" basis. It is important to note that each student needs a request form completed, so for parents that have multiple students, please fill a separate form out for each of them. Also, as requests start coming in, our department will survey the list of current stops for validity and may change or add stops if ridership demographics warrant a change. Below is listed a link to our transportation website which will have the request form and other useful pieces of information including the “Zonar MyView” app that allows you to track location, receive messages, and updates on your student’s bus!

In June, Governor Polis signed into law Colorado House Bill 22-1358: Clean Water in Schools and Child Care Centers. This bill requires all licensed child care programs and public schools to test their drinking water for lead and take action when results show levels of lead at or above 5 parts per billion (ppb). The goal of this law is to lower children's exposure to lead. To meet these requirements, Colorado Early Colleges Windsor has tested for lead at all water fixtures used for drinking and cooking. CECW's water tests results showed no lead. Please see the email sent 6/11 for the results or click here.
