Reminder: CECP Is Not a Part of DCSD
Did you know that CEC's Douglas County Campuses: CEC Inverness, CEC Castle Rock, and CEC Parker are part of a state-authorized network of charter schools and are not aligned with a specific school district? This allows ALL CEC campuses to provide Students and Families flexible, accessible, and individualized learning and support for all.

To learn more about our authorizer, the Charter School Institute visit https://www.csi.state.co.us.

If you know a family that would be interested in joining our school next year, have them join us for a school tour or information meeting by signing up here https://coloradoearlycolleges.org/parker/#calendar.
Spring Break Resources
While the school breaks are often a time for friends and family, we recognize that they can also be stressful. Although some people look forward to a break, others may struggle with a lack of structure, and while some people look forward to opportunities "to let loose," others may experience difficulty maintaining their recovery or with pressure from peers.

If you are concerned that your student may be experiencing changes in their mood or experiencing suicidal behaviors or thoughts, please remember to:
  • Stay with the student until you are sure they are safe.
  • If there is an immediate threat to your student or other students, call 911.

Click here to access our local guide for food, housing, and health resources.

Neighborhood Reminder
Parents & Students,

Please be mindful of neighboring businesses and residences as you travel Parkglenn Way. The posted speed limit is 30 mph.

We’ve had some recent complaints from neighbors about speeding, careless driving, and blocking parts of the roadway during drop-off and pick-up. We have a great relationship with our friends in the area and they keep a good eye on our school during breaks, weekends, and at night. We want to continue to respect them as well in our neighboring relationship.

Thanks for your help in this matter.
