DECEMBER 2019 NEWS

Dear Parents: We enjoyed thinking about family, friends, food, and thankfulness last week with so much feasting in every class. And now we head into the magical month of December filled with jingle bells, visits to the church sanctuary for music, sing-alongs, holiday anticipation, and of course, plenty of glitter! Lots of parents enjoyed potluck gatherings in November. What a wonderful opportunity to connect in a relaxed setting. Thanks to all of our host families for opening their homes to us. Thanks to Andrea Murray for a great Holiday Shop Night at Child's Play last week. Imagine no line at the checkout counter! And 10% of gifts purchased comes back to CCPC to support our own wish list. We look forward to our class holiday sing-alongs and beloved PreK Pageant. These wonderful traditions symbolize our community's close ties and are so much fun for the children! The warmth and love between the children is an everyday miracle that we especially cherish at this beautiful time of year. May your family enjoy peace and happiness now and into the new year. REMINDERS

Is your child too sick for school?

'Tis the Season for Illness! Please keep your child at home for a full 24 hours AFTER they are symptom free. Children easily pass their virus to all their friends (and even their teachers). Please tell your teacher if your child has been at school and then developed an illness. We all need to respect this policy in order to promote the best overall health for our community. We will send out notices to families in the same age groups (who share big room and playground time) if there is a contagious illness at school. Thank you being considerate of our entire community in promoting good health.
