Children’s Foundation of Mississippi
Early Childhood Council Planning Grants

The Children’s Foundation of Mississippi is offering up to ten (10) small planning grants to establish local councils that serve the interests of young children in the state of Mississippi! We encourage you to apply for a planning grant of no more than $2,000 to assist in convening community members to define the need for and develop early childhood programming that serves children under five and their families. Proposals will be accepted until 5 PM on Friday, July 22, 2022.

In Mississippi, one of the biggest barriers to employment for low-income single moms is access to child care. Because we believe that no mother should have to choose between the job she needs and the child she loves, MLICCI works to improve the state’s child care assistance program and strengthen the financial viability of the child care centers that serve low-income mothers.
