Register for our Annual Celebration!

We have so much to celebrate, and so much to share! As we continue to grow as an organization, we are beyond grateful for the hard work of our staff, the dedication of our volunteers, and the commitment of our donors and supporters.

Join us on Wednesday, November 9th at 5:30pm at The Hotel Concord for our Annual Celebration.

We want to take this opportunity to highlight the work CCEH has accomplished this past year, as well as say goodbye to Ellen Groh as she makes her way into retirement in early December.

Our new Executive Director, Karen Jantzen, will also introduce herself and is looking forward to meeting our community of supporters! Brief remarks from Ellen and Karen will begin at 6pm.

CCEH recognizes JH Spain for their generosity and support

CCEH has stepped up our efforts to create homes for individuals in our community that are experiencing long-term homelessness. In the current building environment, when it is difficult to get a call back from a contractor, CCEH is especially grateful for the steadfast support of JH Spain.

For the substantial time that JH Spain provides to help CCEH evaluate potential projects, we proudly present them with the "Golden Gourmet Food Basket Award."

CCEH is Hiring!

We are looking for staff for the Emergency Winter Shelter. Open from December 1st to March 31st; Winter Shelter staff are paid $18 per hour. We have several shifts that need to be filled.

Upcoming Community Events:

Christmas Craft Fair At United Church Of Penacook

The United Church of Penacook will hold a Christmas Craft Fair and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 12th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Crafters will offer home décor, holiday decorations, knit/crochet hats, mittens, scrubbers, printed tees, totes, stuffed toys, jams and jellies, handbags, artisan soaps, and more. There will also be a bake sale!

Proceeds support the United Church Food Pantry and the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness.

Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Monthly Forum: What Does Homelessness Look Like in Concord?

A panel of representatives from local agencies, who work directly with Concord’s unhoused population on a daily basis, will discuss the causes and outcomes of both short-term and chronic homelessness. You’ll gain perspective on this statewide crisis, learn how our local community is responding, and hear directly from an individual who was temporarily unhoused.

This event includes a delicious plated lunch and the opportunity to network with fellow business leaders who are motivated to make change in our community.

Landlord Incentive Program

CCEH is working with numerous individuals who have a rental housing voucher but who are struggling to find a landlord who will accept it. Our Landlord Incentive Program provides a package of benefits to help address and overcome the primary hesitations landlords may have in providing a home for our clients.

New Report! The National Housing Trust Fund: A Summary of 2018 State Projects

The National Low Income Housing Coalition issued a new report, The National Housing Trust Fund: A Summary of 2018 State Projects. Part of NLIHC’s effort to document the impact of the national Housing Trust Fund (HTF), the report summarizes how each state and the District of Columbia planned to use $267 million allocated in 2018 by the HTF.

Our Green Street Apartments project is mentioned in the report and featured on the cover!
