Bob Knight, President of Paul Homes, announces Rich Verblaauw, Paul Homes Construction Manager, has been promoted to Vice President. Rich will oversee operations, purchasing, quality control, warranty and the design center. He will also serve as the primary liaison for all sub-contractors.
Rich joined Paul Homes in 2005 as a Superintendent and has served in various position within the company. When the market collapsed, he assumed additional responsibilities, and became an integral part of the team. His goal as Vice President is to ensure all clients have a rewarding building experience with Paul Homes. “When a family decides to build their dream home with us, my job is to make certain everything runs smoothly, and to solve any issues immediately and efficiently.”
A native of Cape Coral, Rich always knew he had a passion for building homes. Immediately out of high school, he worked with master carpenters to learn the art of building homes, along with other tradesman, to further his knowledge of new construction. After working in the roofing industry for over 13 years, he obtained his General Contractor’s (GC) license and began his own residential and commercial construction business. In 2005, he chose to work with Paul Homes because their values aligned with his: “Everyone works together so well, and we truly are a team with a singular goal in mind – build extraordinary homes to exceed our client’s dreams.”
Rich believes there is always room for improvement. He takes time to learn about new products, technology, and trends in the building industry, with the goal of making life easier for his current and future clientele. Rich believes his definition of success happens at the closing table when his clients say, “This is the best experience we’ve had!”
