The stated purpose of CCA is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources. The objective of CCA is to conserve, promote and enhance the present and future availability of these coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public.

CCA Habitat

Since 2002, CCA has completed more than $7.4 million in marine habitat projects across the Louisiana coast. Along with our conservation partners, CCA has constructed 20 artificial reefs and multiple marsh creation projects, with several more to come.
TAG Louisiana

CCA's TAG Louisiana program utilizes volunteer anglers as citizen scientists who report their tagged or recaptured fish to CCA. That information is used by biologists to improve understanding of marine sportfish.
Through our Outreach Program, CCA's message of coastal stewardship and responsibility is reaching thousands of adults and youth. If you have a civic organization, youth group, school or other groups who would benefit from a presentation by CCA, let us know. Our programs are tailored to our audience and are interesting, fun and informative. To schedule an appearance, call us at (225) 952-9200 or click here.
