Sunday Mulch Morning! June 9 @9 am

Please come help spread mulch on the Aaron Lazar Giving Garden. It won’t take long with a few helpers. Bring a wheelbarrow if you have one, bring your kids and friends and gloves.

Join us for Tikkun Leil Shavuot, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 11, at Schmaltz Delicatessen, 3011 Ogden Ave, Lisle.

Tikkun Leil Shavuot is the traditional late night study session the evening before the Festival of Shavuot, when we prepare ourselves for the receiving of the Torah on Shavuot morning. In Jewish tradition, the Israelites encamped at Mount Sinai stayed up all night studying and preparing for the revelation of the Torah the next morning. While we won't go all night, we will try to emulate some of what the Israelites experienced. Rabbi David and others will be leading the discussions. Cheesecake, kugel and beverages will be provided.

Please RSVP to religiouspractice@napershalom.org by Friday, June 7. If you’d like to eat dinner at Schmaltz before the study session begins, please arrive at 6:00. (dinner is not provided)

Join us for Shavuot Worship Services including Yizkor Memorial Prayers:

Wednesday morning, June 12, 10 am, In person and on Zoom.
