JCC Summer DAY Camp

Nothing connects kids to Judaism quite like summer camp! If you’re interested in sending your kid (ages 5-18) to JCC summer DAY camp, the Hyde Park location is willing to provide a bus from CBS - IF we can get enough registrants/high school counselors. Their website has more info. If interested, please contact Jen Weiner.

We will meet the second Wednesday of the month at 1pm and the second Thursday of the month at 7pm (unless holidays get in the way!)

Chesed and Tikun Olam

Our Tikun Olam hero of the week is Vicki Robinson. Vicki has kept our religious school going along with Ann Rabin after the tragic loss of Wendy Adler. When Ann needed emergency surgery, Vicki took over. She has put in countless hours organizing, carrying out Wendy’s plans, putting out bulletins to our religious school families and filling in wherever needed. Vicki, your efforts and expertise have not gone unnoticed. Thank you so much for being a hero for our religious school and families. You do what needs to be done without fanfare and making it all look so effortless. You are so appreciated.

Correction from our last article – We neglected to mention that April Haskell cooked all the delicious salmon for our Passover Seder. Thank you so much, April!

If you would like to nominate a person or persons as Tikun Olam heroes, please email rkramen3@gmail.com.
