Park behind Ashley’s Furniture Store on rt. 59 in Naperville by Costco on 75th street

CBS Library Open for Business

Have you seen our library lately? It’s been completely refurbished and reorganized, and is now beautiful and inviting. The space is wide open, making it easy to browse the shelves, examine the amazing collection of Jewish-themed books, both non-fiction and fiction, and make your selections.

Not in a hurry? Grab a cup of coffee (yes, there’s a coffee machine in the room), take a seat, and enjoy a nice read. When you’re ready to check out, just write your name on the card you’ll find in the pocket at the front of the book, and drop the card in the designated box. Couldn’t be easier.

The library is open whenever the synagogue is, so come on by and take a look. Also, be sure to watch for new additions to the collection in the coming months.

Chesed and Tikun Olam

Our Tikun Olam heroes of the week are all the congregants who helped make our CBS Seder a beautiful experience. Cynthia Summers and Rachelle Sheffer were the hard-working co-chairs. They not only chaired; they cooked! They put in long hours to make our seder a success. Those who helped out were Fran Kramer, Mimi and Darren Qunell, Paula Fremerman, Barbara and Tom Wolf, Melissa Schwartz, Marc Willensky, Alexis Skigen Rago, Lynda Stern, Naomi

Copeland, Carol and Jack Medor, Barbara and Chuck Lipkin, Jill Lexier, Jerry and Jan Hyman, Haley Marchweka, Diane and Brian Toby, Jeff and Linda Neidorf, Alan and Eugenia Mindlin, Wendy and Jeff Gross, Stephanie Mathews, Elizabeth Sigale, Anna Lakomiak, Stephanie Matthews and Ricky Amesquita. Of course, many thanks to Rabbi David Eber for leading a meaningful and enjoyable seder. All of you are our heroes. You work with others to ensure CBS is a welcoming and inclusive institution. Thank you so much. You are appreciated.
