Chesed and Tikun Olam

Our Tikun Olam hero of the week is Jen Weiner. Jen has been the advisor of our BBYO group for quite six years. From a small handful of teens, Jen has grown the chapter so that the gatherings have drawn up to twenty participants who have traveled from Glen Ellyn and Homewood to join our group. At the BBYO annual banquet, our chapter (Moreshet Ma’arav) won three awards and was named most improved chapter. Jen’s enthusiasm, her understanding and empathy with our youth and her guidance have energized our Jewish teens. Thank you, Jen, for all your hard work and tireless effort. You are a treasure!
